A 10K Spring Cross-country run along
Cheshire’s Sandstone Trail

Following the success of the 10k run last April, the NSPCC Nantwich District Committee is planning a fifth spring run on Sunday April 11th,2010
The event in April last year, along 10 kilometres of Cheshire’s famous Sandstone Trail, took in a variety of terrain and encompassed wonderful views and countryside.
The 2010 Run, again organised by the local NSPCC committee , which supports Rainbow House in Crewe, will start from Beeston Market car park, (nr. Tarporley) promptly at 10.00am on Sunday morning. Perfect for experienced runners and keep fit addicts, it will be a wonderful spring warm up before the Marathon season begins. Entry will be £10 and there will be prizes for the first three men and first three women, along with running vests for all participants. Professional timing will also be in place. Water will also be provided, together with a bottle of champagne for the person who raises the most sponsorship.
For those who ran last year please note that a new improved course has been organised eliminating some gates in the early stages of the run. This is to remove bottlenecks and queues in the early stages of the race.
